This has got to stop. The “Code Of Silence” needs to be broken. There needs to be more deterrents, and after school/ summer programs to keep kids off the streets and away from guns to break the cycle of violence. The thing is there is no money to make these things happen. Growing up in the city, violence is normal, and I became numb to seeing the effects. This report opened my eyes. How are we expected to win a war, when there is one going on in our streets?
30 people were shot this weekend and that is just ridiculous. Something’s gotta give.
